1. Keep them sparkly!
It’s important to use the correct substance to spray on your lenses to avoid damage to the coating. It’s always a good idea to rinse them under running water before spraying with a specifically designed lens spray. You can find many great ones online, in a pharmacy or optometrist.
2. Use the correct material to clean
We know, often it feels easy to just use something nearby – a piece of clothing, a tissue, a sponge. These materials could cause more damage than good as they all have certain textured surfaces that can leave behind smudges or scratches on your lenses! Instead, opt for a microfiber cloth or a good quality anti-static cleaning cloth from an optometrists.
3. Store them properly
As you can imagine, placing glasses face down can cause the lenses to become scratched, reducing the effectiveness of the lenses as well as becoming annoying to see through.

4. Take them off with both hands
It may sound odd, but getting into the habit of using both hands to put on and take off your glasses is a good one to get into! This will prevent them from loosening or becoming crooked over time.
5. Never put them on top of your head!
This may seem like the easiest solution most of the time but doing this frequently can cause the arms to stretch, making them loose on your face.
Get into the habit of placing them safely inside a case, or on a glasses stand.
